MUNCIE, IN (WCRD Weather) — Indiana Severe Weather Preparedness Week has officially come to an end, but this is the perfect time to recap everything that we covered this week. From safety and preparedness, to recovery tips and learning how to be a Weather Ready Nation, we learned a lot about preparedness this week. One key organization in every community that deals with these issues on a daily basis is the emergency management agency. Assistant Chief Forecaster Nathan DeYoung was able to sit down with Executive Director of Emergency Medical Services for Delaware County Emergency Management Jason Rogers to learn more about what his department does and how it applies to severe weather preparedness.
Nathan was also able to sit down with the Ball State Storm Chase Team for more on their efforts to aid in severe weather preparedness.
