We’ve seen a fair share of weather today, ranging from sunny, overcast, windy, and even rainy here in Muncie. Currently we are sitting at 75 degrees here in Muncie, with overcast skies, and winds near 20 miles per hour. We’ve already had one line of showers come through Delaware County, and we’ll see a second line come through here in the next hour. The main threat for these showers will be heavy precipitation and strong winds. Afterward, conditions will begin to clear out overnight, with an overnight low of 49 degrees.
Friday will bring mostly cloudy skies in the morning, than more overcast conditions in the afternoon hours. Winds will also calm down compared to what we saw today, reaching only around 10 miles at peak wind speeds. Expect a high of 58 degrees for Friday. Overnight lows heading into the weekend will start a trend of chilly daily lows, with a low of 44.
Saturday brings our next chance for rain, with a 40% chance for rain in the morning hours. These showers should end by around noon, and will cause overcast skies throughout the day. The high for Saturday will be 55, with a low of 41.
Sunday will bring the next warming period, with a ten degree jump in the daily high, with a forecast high of 65. Partly cloudy skies can be expected.
Monday will be sunny with a high of 69, and we’ll be back into the 70s by Tuesday.
