We are looking at a quiet end to the work week tonight. Temperatures will be in the low to mid-30s, with mainly cloudy conditions.
Big changes enter the weather picture this weekend. A cold front moves through tomorrow, which will spark showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures will soar to near 60° ahead of the front and fall dramatically through the day on Sunday. As a result of the strengthening low pressure system passing close to Indiana, strong winds are possible after the cold front passes on Sunday. A High Wind WATCH is in effect during the day on Sunday. Wind gusts could be as high as 50 to 60 mph. This wind could cause damage and power outages, as well as make driving difficult. Things finally quiet down early next week, with sunshine returning to the picture on Monday and Tuesday.
