BSU Students Required to Test for COVID-19

Vice President of Student Affairs Ro-Anne Royer Engle announced that all
returning Ball State students must receive a negative COVID-19 test or self-quarantine before returning to campus for the spring semester. This does include off-campus living.

The test must be taken within 7 days of returning to campus. Once you receive a negative test and show it to the university, you will be granted a move in time to return to the residence halls. If the test comes back positive, Ball State will provide resources and instructions about isolating before
returning.

If you test positive 90 days before returning to campus, you are not required to get another test.

Students who fail to follow the testing protocol will not be granted residence hall or academic access until they submit their results.

The spring semester is slated to start on January 19.
