‘Fall’ing Temperatures

‘Fall’ing Temperatures post thumbnail image

Tonight: Expect temperatures to drop slowly after sunset into the mid 60s by midnight. We’ll end up with a low of 57, with increasing cloud cover overnight and winds out of the southwest at 5-10mph.

Tomorrow: For Monday, it will feel much more like fall! The high temperature tops out at 65 just past midnight, with temperatures falling from there. Expect breezy conditions, with winds coming out of the northwest at 15mph, gusting up to 25 mph at times. To kick off the start of the work week, make sure to grab your umbrella your way out the door! Widespread rain showers are expected throughout the day tomorrow, beginning around 10am. The last time we saw rain in Muncie was over 2 weeks ago so the rain is much-needed.

7-day: We continue the cool, much more fall like pattern with ‘fall’ing temperatures throughout the week. To start off October, temperatures will struggle to even reach 60, as another colder air mass arrives. Dry conditions return for the week, with no precipitation expected after the rain moves through on Monday.
