Minniapolis,MN- As of Wednesday, the other three officers Tou Thao, J Alexander Kueng, and Thomas Lane have been charged with aiding and abetting second-degree murder and will most likely face 10 years in prison.
Derek Chauvin is now finally being charged with second-degree murder and could face 40 years.
The owner of the El Nuevo Rodeo club said that he was ill-tempered and had used excessive force such as using mace and pepper spray with some rowdy patrons from time to time.
Chavin killed George Floyd on May 25 and was then fired on May 26 when the video of him was released.
The killing of Floyd has led to protests across the nation peacefully fighting against police brutality.
