We are tracking a system that will bring us snow later tonight into tomorrow. In result of this, the National Weather Service has put us under a Winter Weather Advisory from 9 PM EST tonight until 10 AM EST tomorrow. Here is what you can expect from this system...
- Snow beginning around 10 PM tonight and continuing overnight into Friday morning. The heaviest bands will occur in the early morning hours of tomorrow.
- We are expecting about 2-3 inches total of snow.
- Winds will be sustained around 5-10 mph overnight, but pick up Friday morning to around 15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph possible. Lookout for blowing snow on the roadways and sidewalks.
- This system will impact us heavily Friday morning, so be cautious about commuting to school or work. Watch out for snow plows and other emergency vehicles.
Stay warm and be safe tonight and tomorrow!
