Unseasonably Warm and Sunny

Short Range Forecast

Throughout Tuesday, expect plenty of sunshine. It won’t be until later in the night that clouds begin to roll in, so we’ll see little to no cloud cover during the day paired with light winds coming from the east. Temperatures will keep Muncie feeling fairly warm, with a high of 86°F around 5 p.m. and a low of 57°F near 8 a.m. Humidity will range widely, from 36% to 90%, with the lowest humidity occurring at 5 p.m. and the highest at 8 a.m. This will make the morning low feel warmer than it actually is.

Long Range Forecast

Similar sunny conditions will continue, with high temperatures again in the lower to mid-80s. There will be relatively low humidity, meaning it won’t feel overly intense despite the warmth. Each day will experience similar nighttime lows, falling into the upper 50s or around 60 degrees, with slight winds from the east or northeast. Some models are still predicting a slight chance of rain or thunderstorms; however, there is still much disagreement on the strength and timing. With little or no rain expected throughout most of the week, moisture will remain low, expect dry afternoons and cool nights.
