Tonight: Cloud cover will increase as we make our way into later this evening. The temperature will drop to 13 degrees and the winds will be coming out of the NE at 10 mph. It will feel a lot cooler with the wind chill. Wind chill values will come close to zero in many areas throughout the overnight hours. Tonight there will be a system that moves into the area that will produce snow. This system will be here a little after midnight and is expected to affect the morning commute.
Tomorrow: As you walk out your door tomorrow, most likely it will be snowing. The snow will pick up around morning rush hour. Be sure to be careful out on the roadways and drive with caution. The snow will make its way out of Muncie by the afternoon hours. This leaves us with mostly cloudy skies. The high will reach 23 degrees with winds coming out of the NE at around 5-10 mph.
7 Day Forecast: With all of this snow, it is hard to believe that warmer temperatures are in the forecast. This next week we will be above freezing! Thursday the system will move out of the area and for most of the weekend, we will have clear conditions. Highs will stay in the upper 20s and wind chills continue to stay low. As we make our way into Sunday, there will be a chance for a wintry mix. The rest of the week we start to warm up and have mostly clear conditions throughout the area.
